Martin: very bad cold and a weird rash on his body for a couple of days

Paperwork

Visa: As Swiss passport holders we got the East Africa Visa which is valid 90 days for Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya

Carnet de Passage: As we travel with the CdP we used it but you can also get a temporary import permit (TIP) at the border.

Insurance: COMESA insurance which we already got for all the countries in Zambia (cost us 80 USD per bike for one year and 9 countries)
Notable
Rwanda was the first country on the whole trip where kids were constantly begging for money when they saw us. This was a bit weird for us as we did not experience it before and there are sooooo many kids. Generally there are a lot of people and as soon as you stop somewhere you will have a small crowd around you.
Important information
Here some very country specific information:

You can get money easy at ATMs but its good to bring in some USD to get a start in case the first ATM does not work and also to pay the fees at the border.
