The fist few days have been warm and sunny, then we had a lot of rain, very cold temperatures with and without snow.
3x flat front tyres of the XTR (1x loose ventile, 2x holes because of helpfull mechanics…we had to buy three new tubes because of this. More to that you can find in the blog entry)
Very good road conditions, many roads are two-lane (we never used the highway)
Visa: We don’t need a visa for Turkey
Carnet de Passage: Not requierd for most, but best check with your Carnet company as the carnet is requierd for some countries
Insurance: Our green insurance card covered us, but not all green insurance cards include whole Turkey, so check before you leave
Turkish people love their chai (tea) and zigarettes, they are quite good drivers, are very hospitable and very helpfull!
